Graduate Student

Andrew J. (AJ) Miller is a PhD student in the Committee on Neurobiology interested in the multi-level study of neurophysiology from properties of single cells to circuits and brain organization. The intellectual and practical challenges of integrating several levels of analysis are particularly exciting to me, and research in the Sherman lab exemplifies the discipline and creativity required to do this kind of work. Specifically, I've been considering projects related to the circuitry underlying mouse somatosensation and motor control, and what it can tell us about information flow in the brain.

When not travelling, I'm usually playing tennis or enjoying being outside in some other capacity.
